Pricing

Recording, reports and agent hand-offs are free and run on your Mac. Pro is for people who want us to host the video and keep their links around for good.

Free

Free for personal and non-commercial use.

• Record your screen, camera and voice on your Mac.
• Turn a recording into a bug report, a how-to or a prompt for an AI agent, with your own AI provider key.
• Share a page at share.illu.mov with your recording, the PDF and the agent package. The video stays on storage you own (your Cloudflare R2 bucket or your Vimeo account).
• Links last up to 90 days, and you can extend them from your account or from the reminder email.
• View counts and reactions on every link.

Pro (coming soon)

[PRICE] a month, or [PRICE] a year.

Everything in Free, plus:

• We host your video. Upload once from the app. No R2 or Vimeo account needed, and viewers can download it.
• Links that never expire, or pick any date.
• Your brand, not ours: your logo on your pages, and no "Made with illuminate".
• Password-protected links, for recordings that should only reach the right people.
• Your own domain: share.yourcompany.com instead of share.illu.mov.

Pro isn't on sale yet. Sign in to your account and choose "Tell me when Pro launches", and we'll email you when it is.

Using illuminate at work

Personal and non-commercial use is free. Businesses using illuminate commercially need a licence: [LICENCE TERMS].

Billing questions

How will I pay?

Through Whop, our payment provider. Your card details go to them, never to us.

Can I cancel?

Yes, at any time, from Manage billing on your account page. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then your account goes back to Free.

What happens to my links if I stop paying?

They keep working. Links that were set to never expire get a 90-day expiry from the day Pro ends, the same limit Free links have, and we email a reminder a few days before any link expires.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, from your account page. Cancel Pro first. Deleting removes your links and your account information; see the privacy policy.
