# Share a report

Sometimes the report is the thing to send: a bug report for a developer, a how-to for a teammate, notes for a client. You can share a report on its own as a link, with no video.

## Share one

1. Open the report in the session.
2. Click the share button next to **Edit**.
3. illuminate makes a link to the report and copies it. Paste it wherever you're talking.

The page shows the report as you see it in the app: headings, steps, tables and code, with each screenshot right where the report mentions it. People can react to it like any other link.

## The report next to a video

When you share a session with its report, your link carries the whole report too: it appears under the summary as **Report**, so people can watch and read in one place.

## Good to know

- A report link has the same controls as any other: it lasts up to 90 days on Free (or as long as you like on Pro), and you can remove it from [your account](https://account.illu.mov/links).
- Links inside the report open in a new tab. Images come only from your report; anything else is shown as its description.
- Want the file instead? The PDF and Markdown are in the session, and the agent package carries both.
